Wyre Mill Club has 52 bank moorings for members and all types of craft, situated along the River Avon, within the Piddle Basin and on the Wyre Mill Island. The navigable River Avon runs from Alveston Weir above Stratford Upon Avon, for forty seven miles, winding its way through the Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and Gloucestershire countryside, down to Tewkesbury where it joins the River Severn.  

 

Cruising on the Severn stretches fifty-eight miles from Sharpness to Stourport. Both rivers form part of the Avon Ring linking the Worcester and Birmingham, Staffs and Warwickshire canals. For those with salt in their veins, the Severn Estuary and Bristol Channel are a day and half cruising away. Pump out facilities (currently closed) are available at Pershore and Evesham. For our boaters, the community spirit is very much alive, in sharing knowledge and experience in all thing mechanical, navigation and chandlery. One thing boating guarantees – we are all capable of making fools of ourselves and not to take ourselves too seriously! 

WMC Membership provides access to the Wyre Mill Club House and all its facilities. In addition, we offer key code entry, security patrol, mains and mains electricity supply, Elsan disposal, and reasonable caravan ground rent and competitive moorings fees, plus electric standing charge and metered electric usage.
